Rocky Top - The Free State String Band - Vol. 15
The reel-to-reel tapes for this album were "rediscovered" by Ray Schmitt in his attic in Mathias, WV where they had languished for years. The original recordings (tracks 1-9) are from a live radio broadcast on WHFS radio in Bethesda, MD on February 16, 1975 and from a session at Affiliated Studios (tracks 10-17) in Washington, DC in November 1973.
